The reason of choosing electronics and Ueno laboratory

I have wanted to do the job which is related to railway. The reason why I choose electronics is that I can get engaged in railway on a widespread basis.And I can contribute to society on a widespread basis because electronics is applicable to various field.

I have two reasons for choosing Ueno laboratory.First,I am interested in the research of communication system by optical signal processing.In recent days,I began to be interested in communication and device too.And I want to contribute in the field.I think I want to learn the knowledge of electric communication and device by doing optical signal processing and SOA research.In the future,I want to use the knowledge to railway field.Second,I thought I can act on the worldwide in this laboratory because there are worldwide activities like plesentation and posting.I think I want to get the ability of having a broad vision until I go out into the world.

Clever science and technology,special subject,practical work and all that

I think that the experiment classes like basic science experiment and electronics experiment are the best.For example,I couldn't understand digital circuit when I studied in the digital circuit class.But I could gain a deep understanding about digital circuit in the first electronics experiment class because I could experiment it by hand and ask Teaching Assistant what I couldn't have understood.
The electric circuit class was the most impressed for me in all lecture classes.That's why I knew that I could make circuit analysis easy by using it and it was very surprised for me about its convenience.
The application programming is also impressed.I didn't understand C language and programming at all until then.But I studied them in the class and could understand basic C language.Finally,I could make task program by myself and it was very impressed.In the class,I learned the application of programming and knew that it is applied to various field like robotics and computer too.And I could cause my motivation about programming higher.
The semiconductor engineering class is also impressed.I didn't understand about the structure of electronic component at all until then.But I learned carrier distribution and moving by using energy band diagram and all that.And I became to think the structure simply.So,the class was very meaningful for me.
In the photoelectric material class,it was very impressed for me that I learned about optical absorption and emission by using energy band diagram.In the class,I learned the relationship of optics and electricity and understood the structure of semiconductor laser and light emitting device and took an interest in them.
In the quantum mechanics class,it was very interested and impressed for me that I could learn about particle and wave character and exercise volume of light what we can't imagime from usual day.In addition,I also learned its relationship with laser and could understand it is very important knowledge when studing electronics.

What I want to research in Ueno laboratory

I want to research about optical signal processing.I think the research is very potectial.So,I learn about the knowledge by doing research and contribute to society by using it in the future.I learn about the knowledge of optical communication by research because I don't have the knowledge very much now.And I think I want to learn wide range of knowledge of not only optical communication but also device and laser positively by doing research about SOA and DISC gate.

The plan after graduation

I want to enroll in the master course.In master course,I want to learn not only the knowledge of research deeply but also the ability of finding the problem by myself and solving it and approach to the research.I think I want to do research for the purpose in next three years.
